Helping children understand feelings, calm their bodies, and build confidence
Conscious Explorers is a fun, online programme for children aged 5–10.
It uses short videos, colourful animations, and playful activities to help children understand their emotions and learn how to feel calmer and more confident.
Children can move through the course at their own pace, with support from a parent or carer if needed.
Your child will learn:
What feelings are and why we all have them
What happens in their body when they feel upset, worried, or scared
Simple ways to calm themselves, such as breathing, imagination, and gentle tapping
How to notice thoughts and feelings
How to talk about emotions and ask for help
Skills that build confidence, kindness, and emotional strength
Everything is explained in a child-friendly way, using stories and visuals children can relate to.
Conscious Explorers is helpful for:
Families and carers
Children growing up in military or high-pressure family environments
Children experiencing big changes, worries, strong emotions, or low confidence
Children who just want extra tools to feel calm and confident
No diagnosis is needed — it’s about supporting emotional wellbeing.

Big feelings can be confusing for children.
Conscious Explorers helps them learn:
“I know what I’m feeling — and I know how to help myself.”
The programme is gentle, playful, and supportive, and was created by professionals who understand children’s emotional development.
Research shows that tapping (EFT) can help children:
Feel less anxious and worried
Improve emotional wellbeing and calm
These techniques have been used successfully in school and child wellbeing settings.
The course is online. Once you sign up, you’ll get a secure login to all lessons.
You can:
Watch at your own pace
Pause and repeat sessions
Fit it around family life
Use your Thought Record sheet to help you catch tricky thoughts and see if they are true or not.
Let's learn how to use tapping to help our feelings.
Before we start, use the Feel-O-Meter sheet to show how big your feelings are (0 = very small, 10 = really big).
When we finish tapping, check the Feel-O-Meter again to see if your number has gone down.
You can keep tapping until your feeling number gets smaller.
